Finally I have to learn a Maya in order to model my game character, most probably in Robots which I think is easier, but not sure how difficult human model would be, but I guess in Maya it should not be too difficult compare to CAD software which is more focus on Mechanical engineering.
Though Solid Edge is really easy to pick up and doing solid part modeling, but some how it human modeling the requires intense surfacing and soft mod, Maya is still a better choice. Here is my first model following the tutorial to model a temple and render using Mental Ray.
Not bad huh for Noob like me? Elaine said the pillar looks uneven, I guess is optical illusion, since the base and each of the angle is calculated should not be so uneven. Will try harder next time to model more complex stuff..
