Yong Tau Fu!

If you are Malaysian you should know about Yong tau fu, a hakka chinese food which is alluring. I have been visiting this shop for quite some times, but after awhile, because I didn't station myself near PJ. This shop is situated near PJ OLD TOWN, near the selera makan just besides the main pasar. So far they have been serving an authentic hakka yong tau fu.

Tetris

Out of boredom, I dig out some old game and play some really old nintendo game call tetris. I guess it is quite classic. If you wikipedia it, you will see Tetris is also a best selling bundled video game. Back at the older day when we are having monochrome game boy, nintendo, not even SNEs system,I think most of the catridge system comes with Tetris. After 2 decades have passed, now we are enve having more Tetris clone.

I also hand itchy so start to dig out some java book and start doing some Tetris clone. Finally is completed you can visit. http://www.ewarps.com/ to play the game. If the game doesnt' load properly you have to download the latest JRE at http://java.sun.com. Try to search for it.

Just some really simple screenshots. The java applet I have developed doesn't look so nice. Maybe in future I will improve it. Actually my aim is to create a better java game that allows more people to interact with each others. Any idea?

Heart Attack Grill !!

Is being awhile since I last check my yahoo mail. Loaded with lots of junk mail and some interesting forwarded stuff. It is called heart attack grill. I think it only available in US. Not anywhere else. Or may be it will have more branches around the world later? Sometimes we just wanna enjoy our meal who cares we die earlier? sometimes people live healty and have healthy exercise but fated to die in accident.

Here is the front door of this Heart attack grill. It said taste worth dying for!

They hire gorgeous chicks to serve the meal? I guess it will be heart attack for some Mature people LOL.

See the way they grill their meat, the flame is so furious. With this incinerating flame, the outerside of the meat must be delicious (abit way too overcook sometimes is damn crunky eh?)

Malboro!

Wao! is triple bypass!, I have never seen it else where. Just wondering how I am going to eat that. 

They provide full schematic diagram of how their burger is "constructed". Any one has the calories , protein and Fat calculation diagram? 

To Aru Majutsu No Index Episode 1

Recently I started to watch a new anime series which are still airing. You can get the fan sub from mininova.org or tom365.com, both are having quite good quality. For overall synopsis and title meaning and also character information always you can visit wikipedia. This is the first episode review.



At the beginning you can see Toma being chased by a gang, and he is running away from them
As the next scene you can see the title of To Aru Majutsu No Index kicked in.

Here you will know the reason he get chased by the whole gang is because he went to help a girl get harassed by one of the gang member.

Finally he runs away from the gang member and rest at the bridge. But another girl who can use "science" theory to unleash powerful weapon follows.

Here she manifest the power using Fleming theory to propel a coin into some kind of rail gun

The projectile advances

Toma easily block with his imagine breaker power which can negate all magic and psyhics

The girl is not happy and unleash another major thunderstorm that strikes the bridge hard. And most of the electricity are short circuited.

The next day toma can't sleep because there is no air cond, fridge is not working and everything goes mess up. So he decided to put his blanket outside for some "sunbath".

This is the scene where Toma and Index meet each other. Apparently Index is really hungry.

and she demanded fooooood.

After some eating scene, index explains how her brain can store all the magical books and memorize it. And she is also wearing the powerful magic sheild the walking church to protect her from all kind of dangers. So index is telling Toma to stab her hard.

This scene, Toma uses his right hand that negates all magic and psychic effect on index's shirt. At first nothing really happen.

As index is very confidence about her invulnerable shield, suddenly all her clothes get ripped and shredded into multiple pieces. As Toma is stunned looking at naked index.

Before this scene, Index beats Toma all over his hand for making her naked. Here she sew herself a new cloth, but this time without the magical protective shield. Then Index went off to continue her "mission"

Toma went to school as usual and think/dream about others stuff like index, the girl who are playing ballz at the school field and etc. The cute teacher who appears to have very small body frame (kid size) is teaching the class.

After leaving the school he met up with the rail gun girl again, Mikoto Misaka (御坂 美琴, Misaka Mikoto). They wanted to start a fight but the nearby short circuit robots try to arrest them.

When toma reaches home, he found Index is lying wounded at his apartment corridor, and then a magician name stiyl appears to recover Index's body.

Long life for friendship

Dhoom 2 - Indian movie

Some may be wondering why I put my msn status message as Dhoom 2 is better than Doom, here it is, dhoom2 is an indian bollywood movie. Personally I find it Doom the movie is really boring, lack of story line and .. the last part of First person shooting scene is not really creative. Yet Dhoom2 is more comedic and has "spoof" or "copy" many other internation movie like MI2,Angelina Jet ski scene and so on. More exploding and stuff.


You might think that a non-indian like me go and watch an indian movie. Actually I accidentally find it on www.tom365.com. I don't know why in chinese the movie is named as 幻影车神. Means illusionary God of racer(car) nothing related to the movie at all. If you want the whole synopsis or more about this movie you can check out wikipedia link at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dhoom_2. You can know the actor also. More or less today I might just want to post some screen shots about this movie.

Let's take a look at the first shot:

The film started with an old woman (the queen) and 2 kids playing with her crown. So that crown will be stolen by Mr. A when he is disguising as queen.



Next scene, you see how Mr. A fights on the train with some slow motion scene doing some matrix style there. It is quite entertaining and also sometimes illogical because he can block all the bullet using some skateboard. He didnt dodge anything like matrix. But the action scene is good.




This is another sub character (police) that flies out of no where with a motorcycle in order to pass on some fake drugs. He is a mole. But get busted right away




See the way he flies with his motorcycle is pretty cool, I am not sure in real life how you can ride a bike until this way. Is simply amazing!

Another shot on how he is going to land on the ship with his flying motorcycle trick. Is really comedic, but worth watching. I mean the editing is quite good.

Here, the inspector is coming out from water with his "submarine" jet ski. I am not sure how long he is submerging in the water with this jet ski. May be the jet ski is pretty much modded.

While flying over the ship, he can start shooting those drug lords, is perfect shots. NO MISS!

And Finally when they get bored killing all the enemies, they only started to blow up the sampan. I still don't understand why the sampan carries oil barrel. You know it just sounds like DOOM the game when you have alot of barrel near enemies so that you can blow it up and create massacre. Really like E1M7 Barrel-O-FUN. But lucky they never fight baron of hell.

After some shooting scene and funny chat, again Mr. A went for another thievery act and here the hero and heroine met. Pretty isn't she?

This is another close shot when Mr. A and Sunheri is playing basket ball. Quite a classical screen play.

Here is the scene where Mr. A knows Sunheri is betraying him and helping the police to track him down and gather information about his next action plan.

This is the scene I always promote to my friend. Another Mission Impossible ride. In this scene basically they use the motorcycle front to block the incoming bullet, I am not sure why Mr. A can't shoot his leg but focus fire on the front motor. May be is highly magnetized.

Here you see both of the police officer are doing the MI2 stunt, May be one day John Woo and Tom Cruise should do this.

So that's all for now. Overall is quite an entertaining movie, the ending is also quite classic. Good action and good comedic scene, and also good "spoof" may be. Well is still better than D...oom.

The theme song is Dhoom again, in the chorus you will hear DHOOM ma Ca leh, where by I can't understand it LOL! If you like indian movie, I think is really worth watching, since years I have not been watching indian movie because it always has standard stuff like fighting, dancing and singing. This movie has dancing and singing too, but it is more closely related and creative than older indian movie I have seen so far. Not sure about Dhoom1. But I think will be good movie though. Consider a Bollywood film I give 6.5/10 for this movie.

Hmmm I think the chatter box is abit small, but don't know how to increase the width of the left side bar. May be I should just put the chatter box at the bottom of the page.
